Partnership for Success

If you are just starting out – find  someone at your company (or outside – if there is no one)  who is successful and ask them to share their keys to success.  If they are willing, cultivate that relationship and let it guide you through your career.  You will grow not only in your professional life, but you will also grow as a human being.  Jim gives you qualities in this lesson  to look for in a mentor.

At the other end of the spectrum, if you are experienced and  have been riding the wave of Success, find someone who is just starting out or struggling – share your knowledge and experience with them.  It will be one of the most rewarding things you do.  You will find that it will help you as well, for when you are teaching someone something, you have to analyze what you are teaching prior to teaching it.  This act of analysis, causes you to review and refine your techniques, thus improving your skills as well. Julys lesson gives you the keys to being a good mentor.
